What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct individualized and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and acknowledging quantifiable progress
• Create and lead play-centered learning experiences integrating social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development—setting the standard for team execution
• Audit and align Guide records on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clear next steps, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain transparency around milestone achievement
• Develop communications for families and coordinate team briefings that unify priorities and strengthen collective commitment to campus PreK readiness objectives

Basic Requirements Montessori Program Director key responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a closely related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certifications strongly preferred
• A minimum of 5 years working in early childhood education, child development, or an equivalent field
• Direct experience facilitating group activities with children between the ages of 3 and 5
• Demonstrated success designing and deploying play-based curricula or programs that accelerate developmental milestones, such as Montessori approaches
• No less than 1 year coaching or supervising educator teams with clear accountability for performance outcomes
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities to support transparent family engagement and team coordination
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
• Commitment to on-site work at the Alpha Austin campus; relocation support provided as applicable

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
