Salesforce's Corporate Development team is primarily responsible for M&A strategy and execution. We are a high-impact, results-driven group responsible for driving Salesforce's inorganic innovation and growth, particularly in areas shaping the future of agentic enterprise software. You will be at the forefront of identifying game-changing industry trends, cultivating strategic external partnerships, and leading complex, high-stakes acquisitions that directly empower our executive, product, and engineering leadership.
Salesforce is one of the most active acquirers in technology with 20+ closed acquisitions over the past 3 years, and 100+ closed acquisitions since 2006. This opportunity provides tremendous exposure and the ability to contribute materially to Salesforce's long-term trajectory. We apply a disciplined approach to M&A, and enable our senior executives to take advantage of inorganic opportunities that help them achieve their strategic objectives. Our track record includes landmark acquisitions like Slack, Tableau, MuleSoft, Demandware, Vlocity, and Informatica.
The Senior Manager is a critical, hands-on leader in the M&A lifecycle. You will drive M&A strategy, inform negotiation and transaction structure, and evaluate complex build/buy/partner decisions. You will maintain a comprehensive perspective on the technology landscape, building deep internal and external relationships to source and qualify potential targets. This role will be responsible for executing both acquisitions and strategic minority investments, and support all aspects of transaction evaluation and execution.
The position will be based in our global headquarters in San Francisco on a three day a week hybrid schedule.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $150,100 - $227,000 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $180,200 - $247,900 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
