What You’ll Do In The Role Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking an Associate, Banking in New York, New York to liaise between U.S. based teams involved in Latin America’s transactions and local issuers, regulators, and investors to foster interconnectivity between regions. Provide coverage of non-bank lenders and fintechs, delivering financing solutions (primarily asset-backed financings) and tailored hedging strategies. Work closely with EM Structured Lending, Commercial Real Estate Lending, and FID Secured Lending teams to originate and source credit assets for distribution to Financial Institutions across Mexico and the broader Latin American region. Active interaction with clients (specifically Financial Institutions) to address their needs of Structured Financing, Balance Sheet Optimization, Investment Solutions, and Yield Enhancement. Engage collaboratively with Structuring and Trading teams to develop and execute tailored solutions for Asset-Liability Committees of Banks in Mexico and Latin America.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $275,000 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
