You will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, ensuring every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, approachability, and excellence. You will manage day-to-day correspondence, orchestrate impactful admissions experiences, and keep applicant data current to support sound decision-making.

What You Will Be Doing Manage the admissions inbox with ownership, delivering prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (both online and face-to-face)

Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous precision

Attend all admissions events—including information sessions, shadow visits, and community gatherings—whether virtual or in-person on campus

• Develop admissions strategy or render final enrollment decisions
• Function in a purely administrative capacity without family-facing interaction
• Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
• Prioritize relationship cultivation without rigorous execution and accountability

Admissions Coordinator Key Responsibilities This position ensures a frictionless, high-conversion admissions process that fuels enrollment momentum and family confidence across all Alpha campuses.

Basic Requirements

• 2+ years of customer-facing experience
• Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and detail-focused
• High attention to detail and demonstrated experience maintaining accurate applicant records or CRM data
• Comfortable managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
• Able to adapt swiftly and succeed in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
• Authorized to work in the US and able to work in-person in either San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Background in education, enrollment management, or school operations
• Experience coordinating admissions events or supporting high-touch onboarding workflows
• Comfort operating in rapidly evolving, technology-enabled environments

Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
