What you'll do
In this influential role, you’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating C&I’s growth agenda as it embarks on the next phase in its strategy. Partnering closely with key leaders, you’ll help to identify, assess and prioritise growth opportunities across multiple sectors such as alignment to customer and group strategy, resource and capital allocation, delivery risk etc. You’ll introduce practical prioritisation, governance and delivery framework that helpsunblock critical initiatives and accelerate the delivery of high-impact projects.
Through your thought leadership and structured approach, actions across the franchise will align more closely with agreed growth priorities. You’ll also share learnings and best practice to help create a high performing, purpose-driven culture.

The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone who is highly strategic with an excellent approach to problem solving and who is equally comfortable driving delivery. You’ll bring strong hypothesis development and analysis skills, alongside experience of working with senior stakeholders in complex organisations, either within a bank or in a consulting environment.
In addition, you will have a degree or the equivalent experience, plus a keen interest in financial services, and in particular the commercial and corporate banking sector . You'll have experience working within robust risk, governance and control frameworks, and you can convert data and research into a fact base to support both strategic thinking and delivery. Crucially, you can simplify complex and conflicting priorities to help bring the key issues to the surface.
